COVID-19: 98-Year-Old Woman Recovers In Lagos

A 98-year-old woman in Lagos State who had been battling with the coronavirus has now fully recovered and has been discharged.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced this on Wednesday via is twitter account.

As a matter of fact, she is the oldest coronavirus patient recorded in the state.

Together with the woman and 25 others were discharged from various isolation centers.

Whereas 13 males and 12 females were discharged after testing negative twice.

This brings the total number of recovered and discharged cases in the state to 528.

However, the Governor urged the public to play their role by following the public health guidelines such as the use of face masks in public, noting that the measures are designed to keep people safe.

Thereafter, he thanked the health care workers for their efforts in curbing the spread of the virus.
