Representative of Osun State in Revenue mobilization and fiscal commission, Oladele Gboyega has urged Muslims in the state to keep supporting the government of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

He said this in a statement on Thursday.

Oladele further that the present administration has been striving hard to pursue the developmental vision of the state.

He said, despite the economic situation, the Governor has been up and doing everything in managing the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

He however prayed that God should direct his path in his endeavors.

He also commended residents of the state for co-habiting peacefully, a situation that has continued to fast track the progress the state is making everyday.

Oladele said, “Governor Oyetola is doing his best. We should join hands with him. Currently, he has managed the COVID-19 pandemic so well that the state is continuing to witness a sharp reduction in the number of daily confirmed cases.

“As a government that is centered on delivering mass prosperity for the people, the present administration will not relent. It will not rest until the path of sustainable progress and development permeates the nooks and crannies of the state.

“I congratulate all Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir. I urge us to follow all protocols regarding safety as we celebrate. We should also be steadfast in prayers for our Governor, the state and the federation at large.”
