An effort to support the government to ensure safety healthcare in Osogbo the state capital of Osun, Osogbo National Students’ Union (ONSU) in conjunction with Olugbenga Akintola foundation has rendered a day free medical care to the public, at the Ataoja’s Palace on Monday.
The students’ union president, Comrade Gbadebo Lukman said the program is to aid government to provide free healthcare to the public and also thanks Olugbega Akintola’s foundation for their support.
The free medical which included free HIV-AID test and distribution of Condom, Free Diabetes test and drugs and free hypertension test with free drugs.
Speaking with the beneficiaries, Mrs. Oluremi Kemi, A civil servant thanked the organizer of the exercise, said that the society needs the kinds of it to harmonize with government effort for a healthy society.
She Continued, health is important and a healthy society is a wealthy society.
A student, Idris Waliyullahi also praised ONSU and solicit for the kind of the exercise in future.
