ALL passengers in four commercial bus abducted along Ajeoku Village in Obokun Local Government Area in Osun state have regained their freedom.
It was gathered that four among the abducted were released in the earlier hour of Monday while the remaining were later released.
There were disparity in the total number of the freed passengers.
While a security source, told our correspondent that all ten passengers were rescued.
The police spokesperson in Osun, Folashade Odoro confirmed that all five persons abducted were rescued.
It was gathered that police and OPC have been hunting the abductors since Sunday night.
Jimoh Waheed, who lead the Oodua Peoples Congress team in the joint operation with the Police confirm to our correspondent thier activities led to the rescue of the kidnapped passengers.
Earlier, the police spokesperson in Osun Folashade Odoro has confirm the release of four persons.
It was reported on Sunday that suspected Fulani herdsmen around 5pm attacked four commercial buses in Ajeoku Village.
Ajeoku is located between Otan Ile and Imesi town in Osun State.
According to sources, the four commercial buses heading towards Ota Efun Park in Osogbo from Abuja were stopped by the kidnappers and some passengers were abducted.
