In a bid to discover talents in the photography world, Pixels Digital Photography on Thursday launched Pixels International Academy.
The launching which was held at the company’s headquarter office, Awolowo road, Ibadan.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of the academy, Oluwadolapo Isola, said that they are proud to say that they are the only Academy in Nigeria that has a standardized curriculum for all their programmes which they always review in the face of present realities in the industry and technological developments.
“We are always bringing excellence into all our processes and structure. For the past 11years, we have trained more than 100 creative professionals who find it so easy to bring all they have learnt in the classes to real life through our structured traineeship and internship programmes”. She said.
In her statement, she added that one of the alumni, Kore Ola, took documentary photography of “41-year-old costume” and it got featured on BBC.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer, Ms Omolaraeni Olaosebikan, said that they are proud to announce the government approval they recently got from Oyo State Board for Technical and Vocational Education (BOTAVED).
Added that Pixels International Academy is positioned to provide premium courses with absolutely rich content that can stand any global standard.
“This approval bears eloquent testimony to our commitments to, not just fulfilling our pledges in terms of building global standard creative capacity for young people but also it goes to shows our tenacity towards contributing to the socio-economic development of Nigeria through technical and vocational training”. She said.
However, Pixels International Academy programme is designed to enable all Nigerians to develop professional confidence on and technical proficiency. Olaosebikan submitted.
