While presenting the books, Michael Oladejo who represents the Professor said, the Professor has vested in education added that he has donated E-Library to Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria.

Apart from donating books, according to Michael, Professor Falola has spent millions of dollars on scholarship due to his love for formal education which is the first step to creating a brighter future.

In his remark, the Vice-Chancellor of the Fountain University, Professor Amidu Sanni appreciated the donor for his commitment to education which according to him is encouraging others.

Professor Amidu urged Nigerians to encourage and celebrate Nigerians who are philanthropists when they are still alive.

He said, the idea of celebrating benefactors after their death is meaningless.

Professor Sanni said, “Fountain will be given best student in History and African studies award in Professor Toyin Falola’s name to celebrate him. He deserves to be announced in Nigeria while he is still around.

“The idea of celebrating people after their death is meaningless to me. Let them be acknowledged while still alive not in terms of money but perpetuating their legacy.”
