HUMAN rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, was arrested by men of the Department of State Services who invaded his apartment.
Sowore, a social critic and publisher of Sahara Reporters, was violently arrested between 1:15 am and 1:25 am in Lagos in his apartment.
The State Security Service, (SSS) on Sunday confirmed that its operatives took Sowore into custody.
The secret police said Sowore was taken into custody because he called for a revolution in Nigeria, SSS spokesperson, Peter Afunanya, told reporters in Abuja Sunday afternoon
